AMAN ACT was part of the National Multicultural Festival, proudly celebrating culture, connection and community spirit. Canberra Sanskrit School families, AMAN ACT members and the wider community walked together in the vibrant parade, joined by special MLA guests, showcasing unity and shared belonging. The Echoes from the Delta showcase took audiences on a powerful cultural journey through dance and music across Asia and the Indian Subcontinent, culminating in a mesmerising Jalatarang finale that symbolised heritage, resilience and intergenerational connection.

Festival highlights also included a live Kuzhi Paniyaram cooking demonstration at Flavours of the Festival, which delighted and educated the crowd, and the ever-popular Saree Draping Workshop, where participants of all backgrounds embraced tradition with confidence and joy. Together, these experiences reflected AMAN ACT’s mission to uplift diverse voices and strengthen Canberra’s multicultural heart.
